The Dictator is a movie about a dictator of the Republic of Wadiya, Admiral General Aladeen, who will die before he lets democracy reach his country. It takes place with him visiting New York City in the United States. It shoes you in a comical way what too much power can do to someone and how abusing power can lead to consequences. It combines comedy, romance, and action into one entertaining movie. The dictator journeys to America to confront the United Nations for his abuse of power and denying his country's people their basic human rights. The American government believe that this tyrant must be stopped at all costs. His misadventures in New York City lead to many consequences and one thing he did not expect, romance. Wandering around the city, he encounters the complete opposite of what he is used to back home. The North African dictator goes from having everything including money, power, and fame to having to feel what it is like to be a part of American poverty. He is forced to start from the bottom and make his own living away from his home country.
